Maggie made her way through these new lands which she hopes would bring her better luck. The six year old mare had grown up in a loving family. She only had two family members left which was her sire and her half sister. The sixteen point one hand high grey mare spotted someone or something in the distance. Back in her homelands a plague had killed almost everyone there that included her step dam and stepbrother. She turned her attention back to the lands and to the figure that had caught her eyes. She had to much on her mind to even care about the object that seemed to dart around. Was it one of the dead that had came back to life or was it a friendly being. She hoped that it was the later and not someone who would try to harm her. She had seen her stepbrother turn into one of what she calls the undead and tried to kill her. She and what was left of her family escaped with the help of some others. She wandered if any of the group and her family made it here to these lands. She began to make her way back through these lands.

OOC: Sorry for the bad starter. Hopefully we can get this plot rolling

He had to do something, he just had to. He was feeling antsy, and that antsy feeling made him feel well…antsy. There was no other word to accurately describe it for him. Glenn had only recently entered into the lands of Elysium. And since then, he had been gathering dust in wake of merely standing around, looking lost. The stallion did not know what to do with himself just yet. He did not know how to be useful in a foreign land. And that was what was bothering him considerably. The dusk colored man had always been taught to be helpful, stay active, and do something. As long as he was busy, then that was productive. But Glenn had not been able to do that so far. Maybe he should have just stayed home if he knew that this was going to happen. At least then he knew where he fit in and his place. If he had stayed home then he could be a gatherer, or a fighter, or something. Anything. However, everything was 20/20 in hindsight. One can always see their mistakes when looking in the rearview mirror. It is looking through the front windshield that is harder. Rocks, bugs, and all sorts of things hit the windshield. There was an incessant itch to be everywhere at the same time for Glenn. Should he look for a herd for starters? Should he start a fire and burn everything to the ground? He just did not know. But he had to do something, he just had to.

‘You would not burn things; you are too nice for that, Glenn. Admit it and be honest with yourself,' his mind said with a snicker. The light bay stallion snorted out loud in response to his thoughts. His gray eyes rolled in a defiant manner as well. No, he should not have stayed home. He would have been trapped in an imaginary cage called his past. And no he would not burn things to the ground; that was not his behavior. Burning things caused destruction, and he was a builder, not a burner. There was a story that said the things left behind could grow better than the generation before them. But why try to figure that out now? Glenn knew that he could make it here; he just had to figure out how. That, my dear friends, was how the stallion ended up in the Dragon’s Ridge. It sounded imposing, deadly even, and might be the way to prove himself to others. Who he was going to prove himself to was beyond Glenn’s knowledge. He had not seen head or tail of anyone yet. Had everyone disappeared into thin air? The Hackney-like horse man was starting to think so. The fog here was heavy, and made him cough sharply. Did this ridge claim the lives of all the inhabitants of this territory? A mountain of mystery this place was. And that would just be great if the man got himself killed in the first place he went.

‘How about you start thinking more positively, Glenn,’ his mind started again. ‘You are capable of good things, if you just calm down.’ For once his thoughts offered a good piece of advice instead of a snarky one. The stag took a moment to breathe, letting air go out of his lungs. “We can do this; we can make lemonade out of lemons. Heck, we can even make lemonade out of limes,” Glenn whispered to himself. He flicked his dark tail behind him, perked his ears on his head, and took a step forward. The stallion’s long legs eventually began to churn beneath his lightweight frame, kicking high towards the sky. The barbwire spikes on his front legs came very near his chin, but never touched. It seemed like his mane and tail would get all matted with those on his spine and hind legs, but they never did. Glenn was not clumsy or inept, he just doubted himself a lot more than he should have.

It was not long before the equine came upon the gray Lippizaner mare. His blue-gray eyes settled upon her, and his lips moved together in a suckerfish manner as he thought about what to do. ‘Would you look at that? You are moving up in the world, kid. Better yet, look at her,’ Glenn’s thoughts said once more, the smugness returning. “Just when I thought you actually were actually trying to help me, you pull stunts like this,” the stallion stated to his brain. But Glenn had to admit that his thoughts were right. He had calmed down a bit, and he was actually thinking straight. Ogling after the mare withstanding, his head was actually screwed on his shoulders better then than before. When he saw the grayed woman retreating, Glenn started after her. Maybe she could offer some helpful hints as to what he should do in this territory. Perhaps a little bit of why Glenn approached her was also to get a good view as well of her, but still. He was a man after all, and the expectation that he would not do something like that was low. Now a man could get close to someone without being a pig, which Glenn was not. But going up to her was not out of the itinerary. He had questions she might be able to answer, and be good looking while doing it.

‘Hopeless it what you are, absolutely hopeless, man’ was all that the dusky male heard in his head before sidling up to the mare. “Uh, hi there, my name is Glenn. Glenn Rhee. Do you happen to live in these parts?” he asked with a hopeful look on his face. Maybe he could be of some use to her, and this was his chance to impress her. Now she had the opportunity to shrug him off, and be on her way without another word. However, there was still the chance that she did not too.

The mare finally arrived at the Dragon's Ridge. A new place to explore, eh? The fog was quite dense and is cold to see, but she managed to jump on the rocks with ease. After all, she was young and powerful.
She was alone again. The wind was sharp and cold, but she was used to this kind of places. Everywhere she walked, all the nature died shortly after. The experiment was still killing everything with life, like always.
Her movements were quiet, like a predator. Maybe she can even find something to eat. She didn't see for some good weeks fresh meat. Her attention went towards the sky as she heard crows and other birds.
Glowing green hooves were shining in the darkness of this day. It looked like a storm may start actually.
Aztek stopped as she saw in the fog a creature. Another equine probably. Looking directly towards the shadow, she began to hear speaking. Another person?
The demon-like mare was made to kill and scare others. Tortured from birth to become like this. People gave her the name of 'Aztek', that was the original name of the God of Death. Yes, she killed many people and scared many other of her weird features. She wasn't born like this...she was made a monster. The land where she came from, people ran for her. She could see many other experiments like her. All of them were zombie-like creatures. Failed experiments. But she, oh no. She was the first and last monster that could actually think, and not just attack everything that lived. Maybe that's why people gave her the name of 'Aztek'. Because she was the ultimate experiment, their queen?
Smirking, she remembered how she always scared the other idiots. But today, she is not only going to scare them. Today maybe she can even get something to eat.
Being behind the two persons, in the darkness and fog, she stomped powerful on a big branch that made a really loud noise and runs quietly in another direction. The only things you can see at her were her shining eyes, hooves and the big glowing scar that showed her ribs.
This is going to be fun.

OOC: Late but yeah XD Isn't hero gonna join too?

The white mare continued on her way through the land when a stallion approached her. She smiled at him as she took
in his appearance. Her dark green eyes scanning the area as she listened to him and sighed. She felt like this
stallion was new to these lands just like herself. The six year old mare smiled as she said "Hello. It is a pleasure
meeting you Glenn. My name is Maggie Greene but please call me Maggie or Mags. I am new to these lands
though." She had just finished her last sentence when she heard the sound of a stick break. She
jumped slightly hoping that it wasn't one of those cannibals that she was trying to escape. She had seen what happens
when you get bit or even worse when they decide you are to become their food. The girl kept her eyes on their
surroundings  as she waited to see just what was out there. She saw a flash from something darting around a little
ways in the distance and sighed. She decided to make conversation with the stallion who stood before her. She
said "Your new to these lands to aren't ya. I hope you aren't upset that I keep looking else where while we talk."

OOC: Sorry for the wait. Hopefully we can get this plot rolling and more people to join

At the gray mare’s first sigh, Glenn did not know how to respond properly. Had he upset her in some way? Was his sudden appearance too flashy for her? Was it not flashy enough for her? Had he shown up too soon or too late? Was she disappointed in him? No, not that; anything but that. He had gotten too much of that back home, that feeling of disappointment. He had to find a way to please her, and he had to do it quickly! But how was he going to do that? He did not know a thing about her at all! She smiled at him initially; maybe that was a good sign of sorts? Or was she doing it just to placate him until he went away? Ack, he had to calm the crud down. He had to breathe or he would hyperventilate and black out. That was not what he needed right then. In fact, he never wanted to hyperventilate or black out if he could help it. That was never ever needed. This woman, she was scrambling his brain a bit, and he had to get it under control. Glenn tried to play if off like he was cool and okay, and not asking himself a million questions all at once. He breathed deeply in through his nose and out through his mouth and he was getting calmer. That was helping a bit. Well, that and he got the mare’s name when she spoke to him.

“Maggie has a nice ring to it. Maggie it is then. The pleasure is all mine,” Glenn said smoothly. Whew, he just might have tamed himself without looking like a fool just in time. ‘You have to try pretty hard not to do that, Glenn,’ his thoughts taunted, though he shook them off and played it cool. He had to continue to focus on Maggie’s words, otherwise he would lose sight of her and the conversation all at once. So she was not from around here either? Well, that was okay honestly. Perhaps they could just take a turn about the ridge and explore it together. It could be a pleasant jaunt around the area. At least then he would not look like some unwanted tour guide that wore short shorts way too short for his long legs. But that happened to be wishful thinking on his part, and Glenn got inside of his head again. This time he could attribute it to something real though, and not just his stupid insecurities. A deafening noise that came from behind them startled them both. While Maggie seemed to go forward, Glenn wheeled around instantly. His eyes were wide with shock as he saw almost neon green apparitions retreat in the fog. Who was that? Better yet, what was that? What did they want? What was with the pranks? So much for a picnic in the park, that plan was ruined. The light bay equine bared his teeth momentarily at the figure, and he shouted loudly at the strange form. It did not matter if it could hear him or not really. “You better not try that again! That will be a big mistake,” Glenn yelled threateningly. He then turned around again only to be met with friendly conversation, which was a relief. It was just best to keep moving and talking, talking and moving at that point.

“There seems to be quite a few of us new horses running around, I am new here too,” Glenn responded. When Maggie spoke of looking around during their conversation though, the stallion had to admit he was a bit jealous, but why? He had known her for two seconds and already was secretly trying to command all of her attention. But what was he going to say to her? ‘No you cannot look around with your own eyes in your own head at anything except for me?’ Wrong. That was just so wrong on so many fronts. He was nobody to her, just some stranger off of the street. It was stupid to think that she was going to stay staring at him, especially when they were not stationary. They were walking for heaven’s sake. Not only that, but there was some strange threat that appeared behind them. It was only wise for them to look around and be aware of their surroundings. If something like that came back, they were bound to run into trouble. Glenn’s eyes did not move from the mare very often, though so as not to stare, they purposely veered off once and again a couple of times. “Uh…yeah, sure. Feel free to look at whatever you like while we talk,” Glenn said, trying hard not to be selfish. “So, what brings you to this neck of the woods?”
